Draft:Civilization VII
Sid Meier's Civilization VII is an upcoming turn-based 4X-strategy video game developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K. It is scheduled for a full reveal in August 2024 and a full release in 2025 for Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

History and Development[edit]
On February 13, 2023, following Heather Hazen's new position as head of the studio, Firaxis officially announced the development of the next mainline game in the Civilization franchise.[2] The game was announced at Summer Game Fest on June 7th, 2024, featuring a full cinematic trailer and a release date set for 2025.[3]
