Carlo Rino Group Berhad (KLSE: CRG 03016) is a fashion brand headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[1].

As of 2024, Carlo Rino operates 41 stand-alone boutiques in Malaysia[2].

The company markets products under two brands: Carlo Rino, which includes handbags, wallets, footwear, and fashion accessories, and C.Rino, which specializes in sunglasses[3].

History

The Carlo Rino brand was launched in 1986 by Chiang Sang Sem who started the business of designing, manufacturing, and wholesaling leather goods[4].

Listing on Bursa Malaysia

In 2018, Carlo Rino Group was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia), and is publicly traded as KLSE: CRG (03016). In the same year, Dato’ Sri Chiang Fong Yee was appointed as Group Managing Director[5], overseeing the company's operations and strategic direction.

International Collaborations

In 2022, Carlo Rino partnered with Warner Bros. for Looney Tunes [7], a cartoon-themed collection featuring characters like Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Daffy Duck, and also launched the "80 Years of Tweety" collection[8].

In 2023, a Harry Potter-themed edition was released in collaboration with Warner Bros.[9]

In 2024, they launched the Powerpuff Girls special edition in collaboration with Warner Bros.[10]

The total revenue for 2023 was 113 million Ringgit Malaysia.[12] In 2024, Carlo Rino Group Berhad filed for an initial public offering (IPO) to raise funds for transferring its listing to the Bursa Saham ACE Market from the LEAP Market.[13]
