Brendon Tumai Brendon Tumai (born 04/10/1978) is an engineer by profession and a music composer Early Life and Education He was born in Lower Hutt Wellington, New Zealand. His father Eddie Heta Tumai was a carpenter while his mother Waina Te Roa Kingi was a bartender. He received his primary and intermediate education from Stokes Valley Primary and Taita intermediate schools respectively. He started studying at the Wainuiomata Foundation for an engineering course. After wards he joined the Petone Polytechnic to study BMETS and CMETS. Career Tumai started his career as a maintenance engineer at Waikare Marae in 1995.
