After leaving Harvard, Kvamme Jensen founded the American brokerage firm AK Jensen Inc. and AKJ Asset Management, in 1995. The firms, regulated by FINRA[5], marked his entry into the financial sector[6].

In 2002, he founded AK Jensen Limited in the United Kingdom, regulated by the FCA[8], to expand the company's presence in the financial markets . This then led to the formation of AK Jensen Group Limited in 2003, which consolidated his different business ventures under one corporate umbrella[9].

Kvamme Jensen's companies consist of two sister companies, in nine different locations. Their headquarters are in London[10][11].
