Target | GameFreak and Nintendo |
In August 2024, video game company GameFreak suffered a data breach[1], including information on previous Pokémon games and the successor to the Nintendo Switch, codenamed "Ounce".[2]
The leaks gained attention for showing folkloric material for several species of Pokémon. These were rejected for use due to being too sexually explicit and violent, including topics of beastiality, sexual assault, and murder.
