The 1965 Winnipeg Blue Bombers was the 33rd season of the franchise. For the sixth time in eight years, the Blue Bombers advanced all the way to the Grey Cup, all under Bud Grant as head coach that are referred to as the "Glory Years" of the franchise.[1] However, they lost to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a game affected by severe wind where Winnipeg elected to take three safeties in a game decided by six points. The franchise would not return to the Grey Cup until 1984.[2][3][4]
