Churizhi (Persian: چوریژی)[a] is a village in, and the former capital of, Shamshir Rural District of the Central District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Shamshir.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,858 in 456 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,413 people in 695 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,717 people in 833 households.[2]
