On November 15, five people were killed by a tornado in Lonoke, Arkansas while a long track F3 tornado in Clayton, Alabama caused severe damage. This would be the highest death toll from a single tornado in 1988. On January 19, an F3 tornado killed 5 and injured 30 in Millington, Tennessee while an F4 tornado in Attala County, Mississippi caused no fatalities. On April 19, 1988 an F3 tornado killed 4 people in Madison, Florida. On November 28, an F4 tornado killed 4 and injured 154 in Raleigh, North Carolina. On December 24, 1988 an F4 tornado hit Franklin, Tennessee with an unconfirmed tornado in Oak Hill, Tennessee. On June 7, 1988 an F2 tornado hit Smyrna, Delaware. On June 15, 1988 six tornadoes (maximum F3 strength) were confirmed in Denver, Colorado with the F3 near downtown. On June 9, 1989 an F2 tornado hit Edgewood, New Mexico. On May 8, 1988 there were two F3 tornadoes in Darlington, Wisconsin and Eldridge, Iowa. On July 5, 1988 three F3 tornadoes were reported in Fort Benton, Montana with a small tornado in Augusta, Montana. On August 12, 1988 one or more small tornadoes touched down in Mackinaw City, Michigan. On April 3, 1989 two F3 tornadoes hit Fort Branch, Indiana causing 8 injuries but no fatalities. On October 14, 1989 an F1 tornado caused near-F2 damage in Henderson, Nevada. On August 14, 1989 there was an F3 tornado in Hartland, New Brunswick with three other tornadoes in Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John. During a late season tornado outbreak on November 16, 1989 an F2 tornado hit Millington, Maryland, and an F3 tornado hit Middletown, Delaware injuring one person and a high-end F3 tornado struck Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and another near-F4 in Clarkesville, Georgia. On June 25, 1989 two F3 tornadoes occurred in Hershey, Nebraska. On July 10, 1989 an F2 tornado briefly touched down in Moriches, New York, and in New Jersey, two F0 tornadoes touched down in Rutherford and an F1 tornado hit Roseland.--Kevjgav (talk) 22:32, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
