Why DYK?

[edit]

To editor John Cline: Are you certain this category fits in with WikiProject DYK? Why is WikiProject DYK considered the main project for template documentation pages? The "category help (talk) page—for specialized category help" part makes sense to me, but the choice of Template:DYKT seems like an error. Isn't there a header that says basically the same thing but points to, say, WP:WikiProject Templates? Sorry all I can do is point this out! —Geekdiva (talk) 09:00, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing out this discrepancy Geekdiva, your observations are entirely valid. I've substituted the template and changed the links as you described. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Best regards.--John Cline (talk) 23:09, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Template documentation subpages

[edit]

According to this category, Category:Template documentation pages, it, "contains template documentation subpages." However, according to Category:Template documentation, that category, "contains template documentation subpages." Either the template documentation of these two templates needs clarification or they should be merged. Hyacinth (talk) 02:01, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Description of Category:Template documentation was reworded in Special:Diff/681227533/858707713. —andrybak (talk) 13:56, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
