The 2024 Central Michigan Chippewas football team represented Central Michigan University in the Mid-American Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Chippewas were led by Jim McElwain in his sixth year as the head coach. The Chippewas played their home games at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.[1]

On July 19 the MAC announced the preseason coaches poll. Central Michigan was picked to finish eighth in the conference. They received zero votes to win the MAC Championship.[2][3]
