The 1972 British Speedway Championship was the 12th edition of the British Speedway Championship.[1] The final took place on 2 August at Brandon Stadium in Coventry, England. The Championship was won by Ivan Mauger.[2][3]
The British Under 21 Championship was won by Allan Emmett.[4][5]
