John Kushner

John Kushner (born: June 22, 1923 died: March 2, 1984) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.

John Kushner was born in Poland in 1923.

John ran as a member of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta in Calgary Mountain View in the 1975 Alberta general election defeating long time Social Credit member Albert Ludwig.

John served 1 term in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta before jumping to federal politics. John ran in and became the member for Calgary East for the federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada again defeating Alberta Ludwig who ran for the Liberal Party of Canada, he would also defeat provincial Social Credit leader and mayor Rod Sykes.

He would be re-elected in the 1980 Federal Election election defeating Albert Ludwig one more time.
