Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayegi (transl. This Night Will Never Again Come) is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language horror thriller film, produced by Zakir-Shabbir on Zakir Hussain Films banner[3] and directed by Nusrat Sayeed.[4] Starring Jeetendra, Meenakshi Sheshadri[5] and music composed by Rajesh Roshan.[6]
Plot
[edit]The film begins at a ruin where a girl Roopa welcomes her love every night with a song. One night, Thakur Jaswant Kumar a despot, molests and kills her. Here is a thunderbolt, the next night he hears the same song and the movements of Roopa. Forthwith, he rushes to where he is slain and is declared as avenge of bloodthirsty Roopa's soul. Hence, a stout-hearted CBI officer Sunil Malhotra is assigned to break out the mystery. During his investigation, he finds that Thakur is surrounded by many foes. Shyamlal is a creditor whom he swindled. Ranjit Singh, his manager is disgraced. Jaganath is a servant, as Thakur lusts for his daughter, etc. Then, Sunil gets startled to see his love interest Radha as a dancer in a hotel who requests her support. Meanwhile, Thakur‘s younger brother Vijay returns from abroad and seeks vengeance. Moreover, signals of the soul are haunted every night leaving bloodshed of Shyamlal, Jagannath, and a maid Gulabo but fortuitously Vijay is shielded by Sunil. One night, Sunil combats with a man in a veil and grabs his locket which holds Roopa's picture. Shockingly, he detects the one duping as a ghost is Radha when she affirms that an unknown is threatening her do so by abducting her infant sibling and extorting her. After taking several twists & turns Sunil uncovers the convict as Shyamlal the beau of Roopa. Initially, he eliminated Thakur which Jaganath & Gulabo aided him. Later, forged his death, and terminated Jagannath & Gulabo too. At last, Sunil ceases Shyamlal and Radha is acquitted with a short-term penalty for assisting him. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the union of Sunil & Radha.
