[edit]These links and events are not associated with the Wikimedia Community User Group Ethiopia but rather belong to the Wikimedians of Ethiopia User Group.
The confusion arose because, in 2023, while forming our user group, we initially used the name "Wikimedia Community User Group Ethiopia" as a working name. Unbeknownst to us, this name was already in use by another group. Hence we officially rebranded to the Wikimedians of Ethiopia User Group in 2024. However our social media accounts and merchandise retained the earlier name, causing unintentional overlap. I'd like to address this potential source of confusion.
