Choice of books
[edit]My goal is to add to this list at least one book by each notable woman writer I come across, especially those who have no individual book pages yet on Wikipedia. In each case, I am choosing a best-known or critically acclaimed work, a prize-winning work, or a reissued work. However, for most of these authors, another choice could be just as good.Alafarge (talk) 16:20, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
I'm a new WiR member interested in women historians and mystery writers. I'd like to add women mystery authors from The Encyclopedia of Murder and Mystery (2002) by Bruce F. Murphy to the list of red articles, if no page exists. Murphy edited the 4th (1998) and 5th editions (2008) of Benet's Readers Guide as well. I'd be looking at notable authors in both Benet's and the Encyclopedia to add more women writers. CatonMA2 (talk) 22:18, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Incorrect wikilink
[edit]I just came across this from the links to Catriona McKenzie page. There appears to be an author on the list who is not the same one in the article I just created, so was going to add a "Catriona McKenzie (writer)", but I see that the list is automatically updated by Wikidata, so not sure how to go about this. Hoping someone will attend to this. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 02:01, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
Manual additions?
[edit]Hey, PamD, Ipigott, is it okay for me to manually add books to this list, as I've been doing, or is that going to mess up ListeriaBot? SilverserenC 23:29, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
