taxobox - why not use subdivision?

The examples seem inconsistent on handling items with multiple subdivisions (species in first case, genera in second) - is there a reason for not using subdivision with species in the Ebola example? Taxobox - handling unknown

It would be nice to have an example of how to handle unknown entries. The way I read this, it seems like it is suggesting

ordo = ''Unknown''

why is this used instead of using the entry suggested by the taxobox instructions

unranked_ordo

or

unranked_ordo = Order

ICTVdB template

Created a template Template:ICTVdB for ICTVdB codes, links code to database description. Thought it might be useful.
