How to best use going forward

[edit]

My initial thought is that going forward, when posting a prod or AfD notice, is that volunteers post it at the bottom of the list Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced articles/Deletion review. We archive monthly, and it will give a good sub heading to discuss particular article if needed. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 11:44, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am thinking we could have a summary table at the top of the page; something like this:
Summary table
Article Deletion method
PROD or AFD
Outcome
Article 1 PROD Disputed prod, references where then added
Article 2 AFD Article deleted
Article 3 PROD Sent to AFD, article kept when references were added
Article 4 PROD Uncontested deletion, which was later disputed and was put through WP:DRV
This is just a quick mock up but something like this might be useful if the page gets to long. Mattg82 (talk) 23:14, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you want to take an look at them and see what the outcome was? I tired to post in order, and if there was an AfD after the prod, I tried to include it as a sub section under the prod. Notice that a blue link may be a deleted and redirected article. Jeepday (talk) 02:10, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have finished documenting outcome, results tend to fall into four groups
  1. Delete; expired prod or failed AfD = 58
  2. Keep; article improved after delete suggestion = 39
  3. Redirect or rename; Lots of different rational and outcomes = 9
  4. Incomplete; Concerns not addressed, final disposition pending. = 2
I am thinking a straight count of what falls into each category is the next step, Thought? JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 12:03, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a section for December 2010, I will start populating it with my old messages in posted order. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 11:51, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I got all the of mine posted from December 2010, will tackle January 2011 next. Jeepday (talk) 02:05, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Working on listing outcomes for December, I am not going to recreate January 2011. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 17:03, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
