Later history of subsidiaries:
- St. Louis Merchants Bridge Company sold to SLMBT August 24, 1920
- Madison, Illinois and St. Louis Railway sold to SLMBT May 22, 1953
- Tunnel Railroad of St. Louis donated to city in 1988
- As of 1992, it controlled the St. Louis Bridge Company (was this later acquired by the city?), St. Louis Merchants Bridge Terminal Railway, and Wiggins Ferry Company.
I don't know what happened to the others, whose trackage is still in use except possibly for the St. Louis Transfer Railway and Terminal Railroad of East St. Louis.
