Dubious health educators
I was about to (and still may) post this at Wikipedia:WikiProject Alternative medicine but to my horror noticed that most of the listed participants appear to be adherents or practitioners of pseudoscientific disciplines. (Shouldn't Alternative medicine be a subcat of this project anyway?) On that basis, my concerns may receive better scrutiny here:
I happened across a couple of articles about supposed health educators (Morris Krok and Arnold Ehret (though with the cross-referencing of edits of their major contributors, I suspect there to be further similar articles)) which discuss apparently pseudoscientific theories as if they have some level of credibility. Although criticisms are mentioned in the articles, many are simply listed without a reason for rebuttal, are criticisms by rival pseudoscientific theorists or are criticisms that the proponents didn't adhere to their own teachings. The more fundamental aspect that there appears to be no supporting evidence or adherence to scientific method does not feature significantly in the articles. Those with more knowledge on the subject may have a view. Mutt Lunker (talk) 18:04, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Merge proposal
Over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Rational Skepticism, they have an open discussion about revitalizing the project. My proposal is to do a complete merge of this project (currently labeled "semi-active") into that project. Greg Bard (talk) 20:20, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
