COI/POV check at Quantum machine learning?
Quantum machine learning (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) has several contributors who are also heavily cited in the article. This could be innocuous, and simply what happens when you have experts from a small emerging field getting involved (you've only got yourself to cite since you're the only ones doing work in that area), or it could be undue promotion of a particular viewpoint.
Asking for a POV check here. I'll also ping @Maria Schuld, QMark94, Luca Innocenti, Lucaslamata, Peterwittek, and X-MAN109: as courtesy. Also feel free to join the project while you're at it! Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 13:26, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
Would appreciate some help with Tihiro Ohkawa
Hi all,
I have no problem explaining why his name is spelled "Tihiro" instead of "Chihiro" in English: that would be Kunrei-shiki romanization.
As for the science involved, to me it's... pretty much indistinguishable from magic. Could you possibly help out with explaining the significance of his work?
Thanks! Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 02:29, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
Request for the "Timeline of quantum computing" article
Hello! On behalf of Intel as part of my work at Beutler Ink, I've proposed some improvements to the Timeline of quantum computing article here. There are currently several claims sourced by press releases, so I've shared some secondary coverage for editors to use instead, and I've also proposed a few short additions of notable developments. I've not received any feedback from editors to date, so I'm curious if any WikiProject Physics members are interested to take a look. The edit request offers more detail, as well as markup for easier implementation, if helpful. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 21:08, 23 August 2018 (UTC)

IP spa 145.109.88.85 persistently adding long table to article. Eyes needed. Xxanthippe (talk) 11:44, 18 September 2018 (UTC).
- Hmmm. It looks to be WP:OR (the reference is to the GNU Scientific Library, not to a paper that actually does the calculation), and not particularly illuminating. XOR'easter (talk) 18:07, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
- Whatever the case, a long table is not appropriate for an article. I have doubts about the analytical stuff he put in but I don't have time to check the paper. Xxanthippe (talk) 22:36, 18 September 2018 (UTC).
As discussed Talk:Planck length#Planck Length edit by user:EntropyFormula an editor has repeatedly inserted a section based on a fringe-looking paper with only nine cites in Google scholar (and all those cites are self-citations).[1] The editor has declined to say if he has a WP:COI in the matter. Eyes needed here. Xxanthippe (talk) 03:59, 24 September 2018 (UTC).
Rewrite quantum field theory
For detail, see Talk:Quantum field theory. I've completely rewritten quantum field theory based on the Chinese article zh:量子場論 I wrote recently. The draft is at User:Yinweichen/sandbox. With the lack of response on its talk page, I'm hesitant to march on and replace it with the draft. I want to make sure someone here knows about it before I replace it in a couple of days, if there is no strong objection. I welcome any criticism of its content. Yinweichen (talk) 07:53, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
Additional comments would be welcomed here. This concerns WP:SYNTH concerns about the Feynman lectures, and how science is organized, broadly speaking. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 10:42, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
