Correct location for outline of reading / reading acquisition
[edit]Hi. I'm brand new to creating outlines and would like to get feedback from someone more familiar with the thinking behind how outline topics are categorized.
I'd like to add outlines related to reading acquisition. Clearly this would go into the Education section, but it's not clear to me where the topic would fit into the structure.
Any suggestions?
Best,

- I'm afraid I don't quite understand the question, do you mean where reading acquisition fits within the education topic or vice versa? I think that reading (see below) logically fits hierarchically under education, as would writing, etc. Interesting topic though, could seem like a challenge explaining what seems like such a simple and obvious topic, though if you're up for it I say totally go for it.
- On a related note, I feel that the outline should be focused on reading in general, and not on its specific acquisition. That could easily be a major component of the general reading outline, but by itself I feel like it'd be quite sparse (especially looking at the extent of the first wikipedia search hit for "reading acquisition" - Reading skills acquisition). Outlines seem to work best with very general concepts that have a lot of complexities within them (which reading does). Those are my thoughts. Minnecologies (talk) 03:40, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
