List maintenance

You might want to outline your thoughts on what you want done with this list. Should the displayed names stay as they are, with pipes to articles if they exist, or appropriately named redlinks, or would you want the article names changed? Just wondering. Schwede66 02:00, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

I've checked and as far as the Summer Olympics are concerned, there are exactly two redlinks left: for volleyball-playing brothers Glenn Hamilton and Reid Hamilton. In its current unmaintained form, the list is rather pointless. There are better tools available these days than having such lists, for example getting athlete lists into Wikidata and then producing automated lists for those who don't have an article on the English Wikipedia.
