Typo on the project page?
Hi, one of the headings says Important Chicago templates. Is that on purpose? Regards, BNutzer 19:19, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ooops. I used Chicago as a guide for making this project. Didn't mean for that. Hey, thanks for all the info you put on my talk page recently, btw. I was meaning to thank you. (Mind meal 19:39, 5 August 2007 (UTC))
Clarification
What exactly is considered 'Cincinnati'? :)
Cincinnati is in Hamilton county, I live in Clermont County but I consider myself 'in' Cincinnati and always use that for 'city'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Campbecf (talk • contribs) 09:04, August 22, 2007 (UTC).
- 'Cincinnati' is the downtown area and its respective neighborhoods that have officially been annexed as part of the city. Greater Cincinnati, however, includes Clermont County and various other areas. So Clermont County is not actually part of Cincinnati, or rather, Cincinnati is not part of Clermont County. But Clermont County is part of Greater Cincinnati. This project covers both Cincinnati and Greater Cincinnati. Welcome aboard! (Mind meal 03:22, 23 August 2007 (UTC))
- When you say Cincinnati metro- are you including NKY? Lord malak (talk) 04:24, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
I got the article a one-week reprieve from AfD from a very fair minded editor. We need to get the article up to snuff with lots of good thrid party reliable sources or it is toast. Let's get it at least past WP:CORP and maybe even shoot for B-class. youngamerican (wtf?) 20:20, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- Also take a look at Pleasant Ridge Chili to see if it can be improved. Right now I support its deletion, but I can be swayed the other direction. Note that this should not be interpreted as soliciting ass-puppet AfD keep votes (as I currently support deletion) but rather a good faith effort to get an article that may not deserve deletion improved. youngamerican (wtf?) 20:24, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Proposed deletions (WP:PROD)
- 22 September 2007 - expires 27 September
- The Goering Center for Family & Private Business (PROD by User:Betacommand; PROD nominator states: "notability" Excerpt: "The Goering Center for Family & Private Business at the University of Cincinnati is an educational and informational resource center for companies that define themselves as a family business or closely held business.") --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:28, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Article overhaul
The Cincinnati article was completely redone over the last two days, so much so that my college student schedule doesn't have time to do more than say it doesn't look good. Could someone please check it soon? Nyttend 04:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
