Beatles-articles removal

[edit]

Please don't be alarmed at the sudden disappearance (13th August 2006 log) of a mass of Beatles songs. I've updated our template ({{WPBeatles}}) to include Songs assessing and scope too, so the songs will reappear in your worksheets once I've assessed them. --kingboyk 20:16, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Que Sera, Sera

[edit]

The song article now has the full title Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) as published and copyrighted by Livingston & Evans in 1956, not the alternate other-way-around title used in the Oscar awards that year. I don't know how, or even if, this effects the records and processes here, but thought I should mention it. (The article has accumulated over two dozen redirects because there have been many tiny differences in what various editors thought the article should be called, including many forms with accent marks which were not in the song title as published.) [edit]

Two links on this protected page, Memory (song) and its talk page link, need to be disambiguated to Memory (Cats song) and Talk:Memory (Cats song), respectively. The links are in the following section:

October 6, 2018 – Reassessed

This is due to a recent page move discussion and subsequent retargeting of the redirects that were left behind. Thank you in advance! Paine Ellsworth, ed.  put'r there  16:49, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done but @Paine Ellsworth:, the page has been unprotected. — xaosflux Talk 17:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, xaosflux! Paine Ellsworth, ed.  put'r there  17:51, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To xaosflux: have finished dabbing all the links for Memory (song) except for one more fully protected page. May we do the same at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Musical Theatre articles by quality log? There is the same need for disambiguation in the October 6, 2018 section. @Paine Ellsworth: also unprotected that page. — xaosflux Talk 21:58, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
