Welcome!
[edit]Please post feedback about Snuggle below. Feature requests, bug reports, ideas and discussion are all welcome.
Discussion
[edit]- Would it be possible to have editors who have been indefinitely blocked automatically marked as "Bad faith"? That would save time when trying to find possible problem users. Andrew327 20:58, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- That's a good suggestion. It will require a little bit of re-engineering to track that information in Snuggle, so I've added it to the bug tracker (see [1]) and plan to implement it for the next major release. --EpochFail(talk • work) 14:11, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- Interface does not work on Ubuntu running FireFox, but works running Chrome

20:52, 14 June 2013 (UTC)- Thanks for the note! I got the bug. It should work now. --EpochFail(talk • work) 21:17, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- Does not seem to recognize a renamed user. For example, was looking at user PrivateMasterHD, who according to this ANI discussion was renamed from user VGPHD, so the user isn't really all that new, but Snuggle didn't pick up on this.

20:52, 14 June 2013 (UTC)- It should be able to continue to track a user after a rename, but you're right that Snuggle doesn't know about a user's new name. I've added the bud to the issue tracker. [2] --EpochFail(talk • work) 21:17, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- Did not pick up on the fact that two of the first uncategorized users I looked at were already indef-blocked for vandalism, users Dfgadfjkgkd and DucksAreFriends. It would seem logical to me to not even bother showing users that are already indef-blocked in short order after account creation.

20:52, 14 June 2013 (UTC)- You're right. Right now, Snuggle only looks at a user's talk page to pull up the "(blocked)" icon. Like renames, this is another bit of information we should be able to track. I've added that to the issue tracker [3]. --EpochFail(talk • work) 21:17, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- Would be nice to have some way of making notes about a user or conversing with other Snugglers about users. Sometimes it's not easy to tell right off whether a user is productive or note. Any possibility of having even a limited amount of discussion available about a user? Although that might be a problem, discussing users off-Wiki... just something to consider.

20:52, 14 June 2013 (UTC)- I totally agree. This is something I've been thinking about for a while, but I haven't had the time to get the right interface together. See [4]. --EpochFail(talk • work) 21:17, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Snuggle's Broken
[edit]@EpochFail: Hi, Snuggle won't let me login to my account, and when I try and edit logged out, it's loading for an hour. Slykos (talk • contribs • rights) 17:06, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
Dead now for months
[edit]Honestly I think we should take off this tool/project if there is no maintenance at all. CommanderWaterford (talk) 09:35, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
