1470 - Richard Neville, the Earl of Warwick, restored Henry VI to the British throne during the Wars of the Roses.

War of the Worlds
[edit]This doesn't quite come to the level of WP:ERRORS, but we might want to rethink the War of the Worlds blurb for future years given that The War of the Worlds (1938 radio drama) establishes that the reports of mass panic we highly exaggerated. I'd suggest either changing "some listeners" to "a small number of listeners", or copying the postface though the scale of panic is disputed, as the program had relatively few listeners
