nevermind they've been blocked Nil Einne 15:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

I had originally received this request from Bonaparte. He wanted me to protect 4 pages that a pro Nazi anon has been hitting hard. The trouble is that this anon is using a dynamic IP based out of Hungary, so protection isn't the best option. He's been spewing really awful hate literature type stuff. I'm not an expert at dynamic IPs. Hopefully someone else on here is. Any help would be appreciated. I'd rather not do protection but if that's the only option, it's the only option. (and yes I crossposted this on AN/I as well)

The articles in question are:

Despite warnings this vandal is still going. Could be quite this weekend and start up again monday if it is a school IP. David D. (Talk) 23:58, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

Hmmm I am not sure if this the correct place, but here it goes: I have found a vandal who seems to have nothing more to do except to do except vandalism (see his contributions). His number is 169.244.70.146 but first check him out, he seems to be around here for a lot of time. I noticed him tody as he made minor vandalism in the Roman Republic page.Flamarande 20:42, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

69.156.37.211 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) User is repeatedly adding nonsense and right wing vitriol to CBC Newsworld. 67.70.10.72 is almost certainly the same person. Scottanon 05:21, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

69.10.96.4 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) User is spamming his own links into the Scientology article. He has been warned about this behaviour both on his user page here and in real life. 212.219.7.2 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) Creating random meaningless articles, removing entire paragraphs and replacing with obscenities. Submission history shows no "useful" edits at all.

Arin whois:

Hollywood Interactive, Inc. HOLLYWOOD-INTERACTIVE (NET-64-27-0-0-1)

A webserver appears to run on the machine the ip 64.27.5.168 of the vandal. It could be a proxy then again there is no way I can currently check for that. --Cool CatTalk|@ 12:41, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
  • Sorry I did mean to spam anything because I thought that my site are quality Sites with a lot interesting information "non available elsewhere". Sure, there are some commercial links there, I didn't knew it's forbidden to link on Wiki Websites (with this kind of links). Sorry again. I had created many "New" articles on Wiki in different languages, hope that my contribution on Wiki was positive! Bye. Vinni-Puh.
There is nothing in yout archive + you cant make an archive as you dont have an account and you were not archiving anything. Also your archiveing warnings you just got. --Adam1213 Talk + 00:36, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
Yes there is, look at my page, I linked to the history version, it's an archive. It's the warnings. I am not getting rid of any warnings less than a day old. STOP FUCKING LYING! Everyone go to my page and see for yourself. He's having fun at my expense.
Addendum: he's changed dates in the Rugrats and SpongeBob SquarePants articles, and vandalized my User page. I apologize if I'm sounding like a tattle-tale, but I'm a little too territorial about my principal contributions, especially ones where a Toledo, Ohio station's included on a list of KCMO stations. --KHill-LTown 04:08, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

Comment this user is currently blocked for calling his fellow editors "little Eichmann", it should be obvious who the instigator of these attacks was--Petral 20:13, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
Why not move it yourself, I just created this article two hours ago, and mentioned I wanted to rename it. Since you seem to make a hobby of adding articles for deletion, you do it, I have no idea how to redirect the Afd. Stop wasting my time. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REDIRECT THE AfD LINK! You move it! Doire also seems to be going through Scottish articles unilaterally changing placenames from English to Gaelic without discussion - not sure of the etiquette here. --Canthusus 10:59, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Contested. The "vandalism" described was an honest mistake - User:Luka Jačov is just trying to get me banned because I stand in the way of his POV edits. Against the policy clearly described on the top of this page he never even warned me of my mistake - merely left a message telling me I was being reported. Asim Led 19:55, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

FYI: This user has a long history of improper sock puppetry with a very clear edit pattern and admittedly shared IPs. He is prolific and makes many good edits, but also many less-good ones. I had previously blocked many of the usernames when he began using them in deletions, and after leaving several warnings. The problem seems to have grown worse recently. See also Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#155.84.57.253/24.0.91.81/Shran/et al.. -Willmcw 06:34, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

I've just blocked him for 24 hours for persistent vandalism. --Angr/tɔk mi 13:29, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
Actually, having read through the recent revert war, this looks like an ordinary content dispute. The claim by ProhibitOnions that his opponents are writing "nonsense" and vandalizing is just false. They are reverting to a version of the article that leaves it uncertain whether the story of Kennedy's alleged goof is true or false. Whereas the version ProhibitOnions prefers comes down decisively that the story is false. I think on the facts of the matter, ProhibitOnions is probably correct, but disagreeing with him is not vandalism. I think Tony Sidaway jumped the gun when he protected the page. (But ProhibitOnions is correct that some of those reverting away from his version are writing misleading edit summaries.) --Nate Ladd 23:32, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
Nathan, this is not a simple matter of disagreement. This person has repeatedly changed the article, each time adding different nonsense phrasing that asserts something that is demonstrably false. (It is not simply a weaker prior version of the text, although it is usually based on one.) No, the vandal has never discussed the topic on the talk page. Yes, the vandal uses misleading edit summaries. Apart from creating numerous sock puppets, he has now created a user name that is visually similar to mine (Prohibit0nions vs. ProhibitOnions) and used identical edit summaries to mine ("Reverted to consensus version, vandal warned"). Sorry, this is malicious vandalism, there's no other way to describe it. ProhibitOnions 19:15, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
Time has shown that this is the same person as the Iraqi insurgency sockpuppeteer and the Úbeda sockpuppeteer and the sockpuppeteer attacking pages that link to Template:Foreignchar. He's created an army of more than 150 sockpuppets (which are being systematically blocked and their edits reverted). It's a content dispute of sorts, except one person is using a huge army of sockpuppets to break 3RR and basically attempt to assert ownership of a few hundred articles. -- Curps 04:35, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
