A good cat's a dead cat. Tony (talk) 00:48, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Obvious grammatical imprecision. Are you saying that all good cats are dead, or are you discussing one particular cat in particular? If the former, it needs to be made clear; if the latter, please provide details of the cat in question and appropriate citations. I am also uncomfortable with your use of the subjective term "good" without mentioning which reliable source has defined it thus. Please notify me when you have addressed these issues and I will reconsider my !vote. – iridescent 23:15, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Now we need a dumb userbox we can all add to our talk pages like "the other petition" has. Beeblebrox (talk) 04:21, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Best page ever

[edit]

I practically never resort to Internet meme banality, but I had to say, this petition -- in particular, the exchange between iridescent and Beeblebrox -- is a truly brilliant work of satire and irony perfectly reasonable discourse. Bravo! —Preceding unsigned comment added by DragonHawk (talkcontribs)

Petitions considered harmful

[edit]

I just created an essay, "Petitions considered harmful". But that's not why I'm here. I'm here because the obvious shortcut was WP:PETHARM. (Pet harm. Kittens are pets. Abuse is harm.) I swear I didn't plan it that way. —DragonHawk (talk|hist) 06:42, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You've been warned...

Cats!

[edit]

Great, cats for admins, cats as computers and cats as singers in more than one thing. Anything else i've missed? Simply south (talk) 20:00, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
