Specific meeting point?

[edit]

You folks need to pick a specific meeting point in Golden Gardens Park, so that you'll be able to actually find each other :)--Pharos (talk) 16:09, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about the first empty picnic table closest to the new playground? The table furthest north. In other words, just south of the Golden Gardens Bathhouse. I can also email out my cell phone number to everybody on the list who has Wikipedia email enabled, so we can just call each other when we get there. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 20:45, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That is the most natural place and I know exactly where you are talking about. I have told people who have never been to the park to go there and they found their way there. Blue Rasberry (talk) 05:11, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We'd like to invite further local participation in the Wikimedians Active in Local Regions of the United States (WALRUS) committee, our monthly IRC meetings, and the associated wikimediaus-l mailing list, to help advance real-life Wikimedian activities in the US, including Wiki Loves Monuments photography in September and Wikipedia Loves Libraries meetups in October/November, and also Wikimedia Cascadia.--Pharos (talk) 17:07, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How did the Wiknic go?

[edit]

If you could give a sentence or two on the front side of this page summarizing your local Wiknic experience, that would be great!--Pharos (talk) 19:50, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
