Ideas for articles to improve/create

[edit]

Given it is the International Year of Crystallography, I think it would be good if we could improve Olga Kennard and create an article for Dr Frank Allen - for a useful starting point there is an obituary from Acta Crystallographica Section B.[1] --The chemistds (talk) 14:19, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good ideas; thank you. I'll add them to the list. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:09, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nice set of contributors

[edit]

What I like most of the diary is that is shows several users from the RSC actively contributing. :-) It would be even better to have a list of their usernames somewhere here, both quickly appreciate their contributions and to show a deserved pride for their direct involvement.

I think the number of the institution's staff who became regularly active editing should be a "standard metric" for WIRs. At BEIC each employee can now officially commit about 2 hours/week to wiki work. Federico Leva (BEIC) (talk) 11:55, 23 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
