Were odd powers of six left off of the list for a reason? If so, why? Why aren't 216 and 7776 on the list?

Good point. Thank you for pointing this out. Yes, that's right, the third level has 36x6 not 36x36. I first designed pentagon tile on 28 December 2004, in 2005 scientists from maps.org published my 60"x60" pentagon tile colour wheel painting on the cover of their calendar published to commemorate the 100th birthday of Dr. Albert Hoffman, who is infamous for discovery of LSD.
