If Peter Heywood was a mutineer "who got away", ow should the men who ended up on Pitcairn Island be described? They also "got away" (from HMS Pandora and HMS Blossom) while Heywood gave himself up as soon as HMS Pandora anchored in Matavai Bay. Heywood wasn't the only one who received a royal pardon - Morrison did as well! Both of them were spared an ignominious end dangling from a yardarm
