TFA blurb review[edit]

Adventure Time (2010–2018) is an American fantasy animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend Jake (John DiMaggio), a dog who can change shape and size at will. In the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo, they interact with Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch), the Ice King (Tom Kenny), Marceline (Olivia Olson), and others. The series is based on a 2007 short produced for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios's animation series Random! Cartoons. Each 11-minute episode took roughly eight to nine months to complete, using hand-drawn animation. Adventure Time has been a ratings success for Cartoon Network with up to three million viewers. The show has received positive reviews from critics and has won eight Primetime Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, three Annie Awards, and two British Academy Children's Awards. Four Adventure Time specials will air on HBO Max starting in 2020. (Full article...)

Gen. Quon (and anyone else interested): thoughts and edits are welcome. There's no rush; this hasn't been scheduled at TFA yet. This batch finishes up blurbs for FACs promoted in 2017. - Dank (push to talk) 03:34, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
