30
Greetings, everyone! I've been working towards 30 (Adele album) becoming a good and/or featured topic at some point in the future. I was curious if her 2021 television special Adele One Night Only, during which 4/10 of the songs performed were from the aforementioned album, and her ongoing Vegas residency Weekends with Adele, on which 5/20 of the songs are from the album, would be part of the topic. The only reason I bring this up is because there was no traditional concert tour marketed in association with this album. Regards.--NØ 10:24, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- It's definitely a marginal case, and I could see going either way. I'll note that the lead section of the album article seems to think that Adele One Night Only and Weekends with Adele were part of the promotion of 30. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 17:49, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- I agree that both events can go either way and that it is important to note that the 30 lead specifically points out that both are related to the album's marketing campaign. I think the best way to get a clear answer is to look at the coverage for each and see how critics describe in relation to the album. As for my personal opinion, I do think Adele One Night Only would count towards 30 as it was close the album release date and seemed like a part of the promotional circuit she was running at the time. I would not count Weekends with Adele toward 30 since it always read more like a greatest hits residency. Again though, I would go with what the sources say regarding this issue. Removing an article from a topic
How can an article be removed from a topic if it doesn't belong to it anymore? In a recent nomination Donda 2 was added to Wikipedia:Featured topics/Kanye West studio albums, but it was then reclassified as a demo album, and therefore isn't in the scope of the topic anymore. Regards, Armbrust The Homunculus 22:34, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- An unusual situation! Does Kanye have any other notable demo albums that already aren't in the topic? If not, then the scope of the topic could just be understood to include demo albums as well as studio albums. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 01:29, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Could provide a better answer to this question as he usually improves West's albums. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:16, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- There are no other demo albums, only mixtapes and live albums that aren't part of his studio albums, so we should keep this. K. Peake 10:02, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Dwarf planets
I have no idea how, or if I should, go about re-nominating this (I had nothing to do with any of the articles getting promoted), but Wikipedia:Featured topics/Dwarf planets is currently listed as a former FT- but Ceres (dwarf planet) is an FA again. In fact, all of the dwarf planet articles are either FAs or GAs. So shouldn't the FT be reinstated? SilverTiger12 (talk) 22:49, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- I guess go ahead and nominate it. and we'll se what people think! My comment would be that possibly it should also include Quaoar, Sedna, Orcus, and Gonggong, but, since there's no well-agreed definition of "dwarf plant", it's a bit difficult to say what the scope should be. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 00:17, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
Elder Scrolls query
@FGTC coordinators: I don't know how Talk:ESRB re-rating of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (FA merged away) is dealt with in terms of the Featured topic. Could you all check that all the pieces are in the right places? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:21, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- I think in this case just removing it from the topic page (as has already been done) seems sufficient. The remaining articles still constitute a valid topic, so I think I just need to update the count of articles in FTs and the job will be done. Thanks for checking! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 15:30, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- But how about this piece from Axem Titanium? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:39, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- I readded it just because I figured a FTRC was needed. If it's all done by hand, I can just self-revert or anyone can revert me. Axem Titanium (talk) 16:43, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

Early history of video games: The Oregon Trail (1971)
Hello! This is my first (or second?) attempt at nominating something, that being to add The Oregon Trail (1971) to the topic about the early history of video games. My first attempt at nominating led to accidentally writing the nomination's code over a redirect, and now I'm asking here as a safer option. I still have the code for the template and all copied in the hopes this goes somewhere. Carlinal (talk) 19:01, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
Query for a potential topic nomination
I was wondering if this topic is allowed?
For context, I have titled it specifically as "Regine Velasquez arena concerts" instead of "Regine Velasquez live performances" as I have listed all headlining shows she has staged in an arena. For some background, Filipino live performers and music acts generally perform "major" solo shows at either the Araneta Coliseum or the SM Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines, as touring isn't a norm and large indoor venues are generally situated in the capital. Having said that, all the concert articles listed in the topic that are either FA or GA were solo headlining shows performed in the venues. The only articles I have not included are Songbird Sings the Classics (GA), which is a lounge/ballroom show; One Night with Regine (GA), which is considered a benefit concert and in an outdoor setting at the National Museum, and Freedom (concert) (FA), a streaming concert during the pandemic. If so, are there potential articles that need to be included that could likely be brought up if I put forward a good topic nomination? Thanks. Pseud 14 (talk) 15:34, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- For what it is worth, this seems a little artificial; but I am not sure if it is so much so to rule it out as a GT. Are you saying that it is only missing three articles to include all of her live performances? If so, that would seem unassailable as a natural group, and no further work. Although I realise it may be more difficult to maintain. Gog the Mild (talk) 17:01, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- I tried to leverage Madonna live performances GT, but for this topic, focused on her headlining concerts (as she doesn't tour in the Philippines), In her career, she has only staged 5 major concerts in large indoor venues, which have their own articles, a few of solo shows have articles too, but these are small venue performances. There are other GAs apart from the three mentioned which do not fall under arena/headlining shows: These are 4 GAs that are concert residencies (3 articles will need to be GA if a topic on her concert residencies is possible, which is another query in itself). Hopefully that makes sense. Pseud 14 (talk) 18:02, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
