Weeks 5 & 6: Creating UserNames, becoming familiar with Wikipedia policies

- Students have gone through the student course.
Week 7: Learning how to edit
[edit]- All students have performed non-polemical edits on other pages, including
- - correcting spelling and grammatical improvements (minor)
- - adding references or cites (minor)
- - providing links between Wikipedia pages (minor)
- - adding a new subparagraph to an existing article
Weeks 8, 9 & 10: Playing in your sandbox
[edit]- All students have started writing their Wikipedia article in their 'sandbox'
- and made a reference list of relevant sources.
Weeks 11 & 12: Due date 19 April
[edit]- All students finalize the draft article (before 12 April)
- Move it from your sandbox to the Wikipedia MainPage (i.e. post it online: this will take some time)
- Improve your article according to the professor's suggestions.
