Wrong title?

[edit]

Should it be "Templates transcluded on the most pages"? Rich Farmbrough, 19:55, 22 June 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Seems to be a different way to say the same thing. --MZMcBride (talk) 23:33, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. {{Portal}} tends to be transcluded multiple times on one page, as does, say {{Tl}}, compared with {{Infobox}}. But I believe they are only counted once per page. The distinction is relevant for some reasons, for example understanding the impact of inefficiencies in {{Yesno}}. Rich Farmbrough, 22:04, 17 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]
I think that's a very reasonable point. Done. --MZMcBride (talk) 01:33, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pages protected using cascade protection

[edit]

Please exclude any template which is transcluded in a cascade-protected page. For example, {{Transclude}} is transcluded in {{In the news}}, which is cascade protected, so it is protected through the cascade protection there and shouldn't appear on the list here. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 06:25, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page isn't about protection, simply use levels. Rich Farmbrough, 14:40, 7 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Underscores to spaces

[edit]

When searching this page it would be easier (for me at least) if there were spaces instead of underscores in the template names. Rich Farmbrough, 14:40, 7 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Update to use modules

[edit]

@Legoktm and MZMcBride: It looks like Legoktm's recent reworking of the config script to include Lua modules hasn't filtered down to this page yet. The top template listed is {{transclude}} with 7.2M transclusions, but Module:HtmlBuilder has 7.6M and is still missing.
