Changes this needs:
- the mission statement is great, but what we're looking for most is what do I do first. So maybe reduce the size of the mission statement some and bring out the editing link

- change "editing" to "how to edit" and then changing "help out" to "what to edit" -- makes it easier for non-english speakers
Not needed - we don't need poor English speakers on en-wp.
