Do you know about East Grand Rapids history, and do you want to share your knowledge with the world? Do you want to learn more about creating and editing Wikipedia articles, or are you an experienced Wikipedian who wants to share your know-how with others? If so, join us!
Help us document a place in East Grand Rapids' unique past - Ramona Amusement Park. If you have Park artifacts, photographs, or memories to share, we would love to include you in this special event. This program is free and open to the public.

- Location East Grand Rapids branch of KDL, 746 Lakeside Dr. SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506
- Event An edit-a-thon on the Ramona Park article with Wikipedia tutorials and Librarian assistance on hand. The East Grand Rapids History Room curator will be available, too.
Skill requirements
[edit]There will be multiple levels support available at the event, therefore participants with no experience ranging to dedicated Wikipedians are welcomed, and will be challenged at their own skill level.
What to bring
[edit]- To participate, bring a laptop.
- Gawkers welcome too!
- Ideas for topics or articles that you want to work on, if you have interest in an EGR topic besides Ramona Park.
- We'll have the library's resources at our disposal, but if you have a special resource, bring it.
- Would-be-editor friends.
- Digital pictures you've taken of EGR that you'd like to have uploaded to Wikipedia.
