Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art/US-UK/Smithsonian American Art Museum Rules/list

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are 6 major 'themes' on this list, and over thirty 'tags'. Each 'theme' is a broad subject matter area of American Art, while each 'tag' is a specific feature of a piece (or pieces) of art in the museum. 'Tags' can be a time period, an art medium, a category, or any other descriptive feature. These themes and tags are helpful guidelines, so that photographers can cover a broad array of artists, mediums, topics and themes that are representative of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

In addition, there are 10 "Valentine's Day" tags that are being commonly included across all museums participating in the Wikipedia Loves Art events.
