Positives

[edit]
  • Volunteer staff: young, enthusiastic, plentiful and helpful
  • Professional management of venue and security
  • Placecards and stage management top notch
  • A/V and audio needs great
  • Wifi/Internet using "BA Public" fast, very fast (not all could connect)
  • Coffee, tea and juice/nectar around
  • Half dozen online terminals

Could improve

[edit]
  • Many meeting rooms too small, Room A especially and Room C
  • Lightning talks should always be in room that is bigger than you need, chairs in the round
  • Water, there is no easy source of water sitting around!
  • Power outlets scarce, have power strips around, taped down
  • Lodging venues dispersed, hard to find each other
  • Would be nice to have a community space

Desirable

[edit]
  • Common dining hall for announcements at lunch, last minute changes, ad hoc gatherings
  • BOF bulletin board, lunch huddles

Quotable
