Nope. The question is referring to an article that was a red link at the time part of something that is placed on ihhljhccxvcxcxxgbxvkjiuffdssmany talk pages. If that means any clarity to the question... -- AllyUnion (talk) 05:44, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
It must be a collaboration of the week!! but which one....--Zxcvbnm 00:13, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I am guessing Costa Rica, since it includes a "history" section and it was chosen right after New Year's Day.--Zxcvbnm 00:16, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Close, but no. -- AllyUnion (talk) 03:50, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Does it have something to do with Russia?--Zxcvbnm 02:35, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

No, it does not. QtshfoZxcvbnm, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but can you try to make more educated, well informed guesses and questions? -- AllyUnion (talk) 13:02, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Icod de los Vinos was the first spanish translation of the week. Is that it?--Zxcvbnm 00:33, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The history actually refers to the history function on the Wikipedia of that page where the article was displayed as a red link. -- AllyUnion (talk) 07:28, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

One presumably quite frequently visited page is How to edit a page, featuring the (only) red link The weather in London. From its "what links here" and "talk" pages one clearly sees that this page is used as the example of a "red link". The current archives of wikimedia are somehow confused about its history in January 2002 (the "earlier edit" jumps from Jan. 14 to Jan. 26). (Before, the page was called How does one edit a page.) I suppose that older edits are no more available through the history function.

As the link was already present in the earliest record available (December 2001), it had to be created in January 2001, and on 2001 one learns that Wiki went on-line on January 15, 2001 (w:Wikipedia day). As the link is supposed to have been created one day after a special event, this was most probably on January 16, 2001, a very special day in Wikipedia history. MFH: Talk 4 July 2005 23:39 (UTC)

PS: The wayback machine shows that in October 2001 the link was not yet there, and in November 2001 the link was created as 'The weather in Minnesota'... unfortunately, in December 2001 the "London" link is already there, which would invalidate my guess... — MFH: Talk 4 July 2005 23:39 (UTC)

PPS: after posting my reply, I read the above "disclaimer" of the question's author (...history refers to the history link of that page...) and as the history of that page has some 'bug' around January 14, 2002, my guess might still be the intended answer... MFH: Talk 4 July 2005 23:47 (UTC)

I indicated it was a red link, meaning that is no longer a red link. --AllyUnion (talk) 6 July 2005 02:19 (UTC)

Could it be something from the april fools day vandalism of the main page??--Zxcvbnm 22:52, 22 July 2005 (UTC)The featured article perhaps?

Did it have something to do with {{test}}, and Wikipedia:Introduction/Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers? – ABCD 05:12, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No. It's actually part of a useful toolbox... for requested pages. There. I said it. The page in question was a requested page, and was a red link at the time of the specified date in the question. --AllyUnion (talk) 05:29, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes... find the article now.. --AllyUnion (talk) 07:28, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My Answer

On January 2nd, 2005, 1 day after New Year's, this was the only edit to the Open Tasks page. There is only one red link, Queens Supreme.

Or it could be Barre granite, which was removed during that only edit.--Zxcvbnm 00:36, 26 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Is this it?

Carol of the Bells it's the only one that I could find that was added to Template:Opentask under Requests, and the page created the same day, a stab in the dark but, let's see. --Grand Edgemaster 23:19, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rents Answer

Is it Culture of Egypt. I share my birthday with that of Wikipedia, so I know that the special day is Jan.15, the day after would be the 16th. The collaboration of that week was Culture of Egypt. RENTASTRAWBERRY FOR LET? röck 22:33, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Finally the Answer is ...

The answer to this riddle is Woodbury College which appeared as a requested article on Open Tasks from 22:23, 2 January 2005 (UTC) 1 through to 07:10, 5 January 2005 (UTC) 2. It appeared as a red link up until it was created by Craigy144 at 10:19, 3 January 2005 (UTC) 1, which in the United States would still be January 2. -- Ianblair23 04:07, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Closing the WikiFun round

Since no one has guessed it, the answer was Far East Command. It was the first on the request list, and it was a red link until January 25. See History for Opentask --AllyUnion (talk) 06:09, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain your answer please -- Ianblair23 06:27, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
