This is an introductory course on environmental justice and environmental racism. Students will be asked to either contribute to the existing wiki on environmental justice or environmental justice--both which have been flagged as needing improvements. Students may edit to improve existing text or create new cases studies (policy, program or event) from Canada and around the world (the current wikipedia articles are USA-focused).

Students might also contribute a sub-article discussing a case study (policy, program or event) about environmental justice to another existing main article. E.g., On the Asubpeeschoseewagong First Nation main article, there is a sub-article on Mercury contamination in Grassy Narrows, Ontario, Canada.

Note: This is an environmental studies course (not sociology) but is not an environmental science/ecology course, so sociology is probably closest in your list of subjects.
