The goal of this course is to prepare chemical engineering students with the individual and collaborative technical writing, presentation, and research skills necessary to be effective technical communicators in academic and professional environments. Given that Wikipedia articles are written towards a live, global audience, the incorporation of a Wikipedia assignment is an excellent way to immediately make an impact in the chemical engineering literature that is available to our field.
