This course will explore how the concepts of race, racism and sexuality are understood and constructed within Israeli society. Students will learn and engage with basic terminologies and frameworks used to explore concepts of masculinity, femininity, gender identities, cinematic representations of racial constructs, and feminism as applied in Israeli society.
