This course is an overview of radical writings by Latin American and Latinx authors, from the 1980s to the present. Students are expected to engage with the history and the contexts of radical thought in the region during this period. The course aims to improve students' writing skills, particularly their ability to write descriptive, substantiated, succinct and easily understandable prose. They will be using Wikipedia to improve this writing skill and to add to existing Wikipedia pages on the authors and texts we are reading.
