This course introduces the types of writing and design specific to online audiences (e.g., wiki articles, blogs, e-zines, websites, etc.), facility with technologies for publishing online writing, and workshops of students' original work. We will begin the course with an exploration of how and why to contribute to Wikipedia, and the issues that arise with online wiki writing.
