English 285 focuses on theories and practices of public speech through examination and analysis of various types of verbal communication in terms of style, genre, rhetorics, ecologies, and ethics. For this assignment, students will examine content gaps in Wikipedia articles centered on HBCU's and HBCU-related topics as a way to compare the importance of knowledge equity in both public speaking and public writing spaces. Students will edit HBCU-related articles accordingly.
