This course examines the history of women and gender in ancient and medieval Europe, approximately 100 BCE to 1550 CE. Students will conduct a project that involves critical analysis of Wikipedia articles on premodern women and gender as well as editing and creating Wikipedia articles about premodern scholars of women, gender, and sexuality.
