Wiki Loves Women Event


In honor of African women, especially women of Nigerian descent, Wikimedia UG Nigeria in collaboration with Media Concern Initiative for Women and Children, Goethe Institut and WikiAfrica will be co-hosting Wiki Loves Women in Nigeria.The event is conceptualized to improve the coverage of women on Wikipedia and her related projects. It will be a closed event with specific target audience in mind. The event is tagged: Mental Illness in Nigerian Women:Taking back the narrative

  • To make a substantive improvement to the representation of Nigerian women on Wikipedia
  • To encourage the Nigerian women community to learn how to contribute to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia Projects.
