Schedule of Events[edit]Wentworth Institute of Technology's Alumni Library and Women's Integrating Taskforce (WIT^2) will host a celebration of women's contributions to STEM fields. All events will take place in the Alumni Library Program Room (Beatty 201BA). Wednesday, October 29, 2pm - 2:50pm: Roundtable discussion on Ada Lovelace's life, work, and times with Professor Cynthia Williams, Department of Humanities Thursday, October 30, 12:30pm - 6:00pm: Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to improve coverage of female mathematicians, scientists, and engineers. Open-house style, drop in as your schedule allows and edit with us. Library resources and refreshments will be provided. Marie Curie's article is pretty good, but it may be nice to emphasize the fact she is the first person to win two Nobel Prizes and the only person to win in two different areas over the fact that she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.
